This is indicated by red band on safety indicator (24) protruding from rear of bolt sleeve (4). When replacing bolt assembly, firing mechanism must be cocked. Lift bolt handle (3), push safety lever (25) forward, pull trigger, and withdraw bolt assembly from rifle.
